Description

As an Unarmed On-Call Security Officer with Star Protection, LLC you will be responsible for the security and safety of our client’s property and personnel on an On-Call basis. As a Star Protection, LLC Unarmed Unarmed On-Call Security Officer, you will be required to know all site-specific policies and procedures and execute emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing excellent customer service.

  • All other duties include but are not limited to;
  • Patrolling hospital interior and exterior
  • Be available to take any and all shifts assigned
  • Be available to respond to incidents 24/7
  • Write reports when appropriate
  • De-escalate hostile situations
  • Ability to follow all HIPPA and hospital laws
  • Basic computer competency
  • Assist with lost and found management
  • Walk/ Stand up to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work all assigned shifts
  • Assist hospital staff when requested
  • Attend and execute fire drills and other safety training as deemed necessary by the hospital
  • All other duties as requested

Requirements

  • Proof of High School Diploma/ GED
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License
  • 24/7 Open Availability
  • Previous experience in a security setting
  • Non-expired NV PILB Guard Card
  • Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug test (including THC)
  • Ability to communicate written and verbally in English

Preferred

  • CPI Certification
  • CPR Certification
